Inkjet printing remains one of the more popular printing methods with full color on-body printing which can output stunning results, but one of the problems is the longevity of the print and a risk of damage to unprotected discs. Inkjet discs can smudge, become scratched or fade with time. The ADR rollercoater coats inkjet printed discs with a special laquer which is then dried under a UV lamp. The finished disc is enhanced in color brilliance and is scratch proof, fade proof and water proof, giving the appearance of a silkscreen printed disc.
